Many of you will have seen our article last year congratulating Karen on her promotion to Director at our sister firm, GKP as they entered a really exciting period of growth following their acquisition of Keen Shay Keens Bedford office. Karen has spent the last 2 years, getting to know the new clients who have come on board and helping the staff settle in. There have been some big changes for both the new clients and staff as we sought to modernise some of the procedures that had been followed for many years whilst streamlining processes to enable us to deliver an efficient cost-effective solution to all of our clients, as well as an office refurbishment and move! All in all, a very busy but very rewarding period for all involved.

For those of you who missed the first article, Karen joined Foxley Kingham in 2005 after working in a few other local firms and really found her home. During her time spent at Foxley Kingham, Karen got married and raised a family alongside her professional studies and continued career development. In 2016, Karen joined GKP, our sister practice as a Manager, becoming a pivotal part in the company’s growth and development during this time.

We are now delighted to announce that Karen will join the board at Foxley Kingham, alongside Paul, Stephen, Darren, Tara and Zeeshan to drive the firm forward and assist in continuing to deliver an exceptional service to all of our clients.

Karen will be helping with the reallocation of Crystal Boston’s and Lyn Oaten’s client portfolios following their move onto pastures new at the end of September.

Karen is really excited to be returning to her roots, catching up with staff and clients who she has worked with in the past, and developing relationships with staff and clients who have joined the practice in recent years. She is also really excited to help introduce some of the practices implemented at GKP in recent times and help both firms continue to grow and develop whilst maintaining our reputation as a trusted local advisor.

Karen plans to split her time between both practices, continuing to work with her existing clients at GKP and getting to know her new clients at Foxley Kingham.
